This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Anybody consider the power and ramifications of a Hillary Clinton Secretary of State and a Bill Clinton Secretary General of the United Nations??Now that is really frightening.

that'd be the coolest thing EVER.  We might actually pay our dues to the UN if that were the case.

Why do you insist I'm quoting the LA Times?  I live on the East Coast, and I rarely pay for movies, I'm not paying to read a newspaper online.  I'm quoting every rational source of information.  Hell even Fox News has jumped off that issue.  When that bastion of Truth and Balance drops a story regarding a Democrat, you'd think it's be a cue to let it go.

he posted it on the web so that people like you could readily view it.  Duh.

So what your saying is, you want him to hold a press conference and hold up a physical copy of his birth certificate and let Rush Limbaugh come forward and rest his greasy palms on it?  I'm just asking for clarification.

Also the LA Times is not the source, the State of Hawaii issued it, and Obama put it online.

A conference?  Are you perhaps referring to the numerous casea that have been filed?  Because people never file frivolous lawsuits, amirite?  None of that has any bearing on him being confirmed by thhe board of electors.

I will keep saying this until someone listens. DON'T TRUST THE CLINTONS!! I sincerely believe President Elect Obama is making a mistake. If he insist on going forth with Senator Clinton as Sec of State, there must be a prenup. Meaning, if any illegal, crooked, unethical situation/s arising doing her term whether from she or Mr. Clinton her term ceases immediately. President Elect Obama surely remembers all the mishaps the Clinton's has faced doing and after their time in the White House. If he wants to keep his administration in good eththical standards, the Clinton's should not be a member, only outside advisors if that. I think not only should President Elect Obama investigate the Clinton's financial matters, but their "Professtional Ethics". Ask person such as Al Gore and others who worked with her during their time in the White House. I believe there will be serious "Conflicts of interests; difficulty with who's in charge; using her power to influence. To me these things are of a significant importance more so than finanical matter, which too is important of a lesser degree. I pray that President Elect Obama uses his better judgement wisely, cautiously, and be real with himself rather than trying to please others. Remember President Elect Obama, YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MUST LIVE WITH YOUR CHOICES, NOT THE PEOPLE. I suggest for this reason alone BE WARE!! I am not a person who usually say I told you so. If choosing Mrs. Clinton don't workout, I will be saying to you, I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!

This is exactly what is wrong with politics.  A federal law allowing public workers to keep quite about those that contribute to their candidate.  This needs to be repealed.

If a person makes a donation it should be made public.  This is why our government does not do the will of the people and our Democracy is a joke to the rest of the world.

All politicians should have to show who has funded them. Large and small.

well, Bill's a private citizen, so those records are not public information.  Federal law does allow review of donations made to government employees.

Also his wife is not and she has remained in politics while this foundation by her husband has brought millions into it.

So I guess now the laws only apply to the private citizen of a marriage while the other spouse dictates policy?

So how does a politician making (what is it for President a little over 300k a year) to make over 300 million after their term in office?

Hate to pop that bubble again Tripps, but if it is money coming from over seas....(why there are attorney's scrambling as it was put in the article), it becomes government business. Thus, as it says IN THE ARTICLE, he is going to be SUSPENDING donations from overseas.....hmmmmm get it yet, or ? So all his big oil buddies....ect. Just like the one's everyone is saying Bush has, falls into dead argument. He is no better than Bush by any means, and by your, and other Nobama/Clintoon supporter's own words. The only thing is, he is , by his and Nobama's own words doing what they can to make sure that whatever issue, they can find a loophole. Now, grant it, I am not an attorney, but i have had dealings with courts/laws/ and lawyers to know, not that it takes anyone with a degree to know, that it more than stinks, so go ahead, and keep dreamin the dream, i wont stop you. But just be forewarned, it's not like you have the ability to look at this for yourself, you seem to like others, jus refuse to face the facts, there is no hope, you and the others were scammed, and will continue now to be scammed. Only now, it will be against any ones will.......well for the next 4 years anyway.

Uh, private citizens can take money from overseas pal didn't you know that?  Everyone knows where Clinton goes to speak.  He's going to suspending the donations because his wife is going to be the Secretary of State, and they don't want it to look like she's being influenced by his special interests.  not hard to comprehend.  It's not illegal for Bill to take money from whomever, regardless of his wife's position, but it does setup the appearance of a conflict of interest, and they are pre-empting that.  Sounds like a good idea to me...

ya....but the government looks a wee bit closer at that money, than the money comming from the local merchant. Der...remember, the fed's start checking out the larger sums of money, no matter who, or where it came from. Be kinda messed up if ol' Billy had his hand in the pot of honey now wouldn't it? See, if there was nothing "illegal" about his little money funding, there would be no need for attorny's to scramble, and there would be no need to cancle the over seas funding....not, if you can't see a reason to remotly suspect, something is going on there...something is truely wrong. You have people who donate to people who make policy, and that is how there are differing opinions between the government and the people.  As those policies would look different if it weren't for these contributors.  This needs to be corrected.

Looks like a contradiction between the article and the Capt.

The FEC hasn't requested it - apparently the fact that Barrack Obama has been considered a natural born citizen for his entire life. much of which has been spent in public service and as a government employee, is enough for them.  The copy of his BC posted on his own website and provided to newspapers and the internet community was issued by the State of Hawaii.

You seem to want to continue to ignore all of this and repeat yourself when I consistently asnwer your questions.

except the college transcripts.  Don't know about that one.  But it's not a requirement to assume public office.  And it can't be worse than Bush's.

Either there is a lot of republicans on this blog or it is what nearly every "normal" American thinks of the Clintons. They are out to save the wor.. no, I mean, themselves and lookout for themselves and no one else. It's too bad that most of us will not read about the Clintons in 2030 history books. Their "legacy" will be there for all to see. They will "expose" themselves in a way we will not want to believe, but...will not be surpised.

There should be a flat tax.

                                                                                  There should green cars.

There should be a form of socialized medicine, not HMO's

The medicines are cheaper in Canada and the companies who make them dictate to our government that they do not want Canada selling them to the US.

There are a lot of problems in our gvernment that needs to be corrected. The above are just a few.

And the citizens of the US deserve a hell of a lot better than its getting, for what it has given. Again my opinon.

As far as taxes, I believe in progresive based on income obviously starting at 0% for people under the ppoverty line and capped at 30% for the richest.  Zero loopholes, and deductions for healthcare (unless it's government subsidized) and college education expenses only.  These would directly subtracted from your gross income.  If you make 40K, and your tax rate is say 15%, you can subtract any tuition/healthcare you pay from that 40K, so perhaps your only taxed on 27K at 15%.  Students and members of the military don't pay taxes.

I live in the South.  There are a large number of black people who believe this.  This is unfortunate, because this kind of pay out will never happen.  Skin color should not have been a basis for electing anyone, nor should financial promises made by candidates.  Most candidates do not keep any pre-election promises.  The public will probably find out that they have been duped.

See any attorney will tell, there's always a loophole, always. It's "if" you are smart enough to find or create that loophole that makes you the money however. Nobama now has the best attorneys no money but the government can buy.Good legal move on the Clintoon's part, Hillarious obviously wasn't going to win against Nobama, altho she did make it a close race in the end. Part of her dropping and making a holy stink, then endorsing Nobama, for a seat in the house, and thus gettin hubby's affair's in order, because I'm sure federal snooping was starting to begin, or they obviously by the recent article, was inevitable. Just as I said as well too, the whole Palin issue, basically vanished after ol' Nobama won the election. You and all who voted for the scam man, were scammed....and are going to be continuously scammed.....lol at least I don't bear the burden of voting for "that over there". Even tho McCain lost, I am sure like the rest of us, is splitting a gut laughing, cause he told ya'll so....and there it is....lol  just face it...c'mon already, he isn't even in office yet, and he's doing the same crap McCain said he was going to do. This my friends, is only the beginning, the opening band before the headliner....just you wait and see....hahahaaaaa

It must have been all that experience dodging gunfire in Bosnia with her daughter that she mentioned during the campaign that makes her qualified to be Secretary Of State. Oh wait! That was just another baldfaced Clinton lie. The only thing worse than Clinton as Secretary of State would have been a McCain/Palin presidency. I really hate to say it, but at the rate this country is going, the average American is going to be left to defend himself when all hell breaks loose because this country is flushing its stature and independence down the toilet, and neither party cares about the populace anymore.

I would appreciate if you would respect my vote for you; by not putting Hillary Clinton on your team.  It was Hillary Clinton who made the racist comment "You are not electable" even though you were voted to be a U.S. Senator just like she was voted to be a U.S Senator.  I supported and voted for you so that you would not owe anybody anything when you got elected President of the United States of America.  "We the people" are your base not the party leaders.  I still do not believe Hillary Clinton had 18 millions supporters; because if she did why did she have to borrow five million dollars from herself during her campaign?  With eighteen million supporters, each one of them should have donated at least one dollar a month to her campaign right?  Hillary with eighteen million supporters is a joke and a lie from an economic perspective.

                                                                                                          Much Concern!  Holler Back!!

When Harry Truman was occasionally offered a little pocket change to give a speech or do something else after he left office he turned it down, saying the presidency belonged to the American people and he didn't think it was right for him to make money from his time as president.  Bill Clinton is now, always was, and always will be a complete dirt bag.

By now, I'm sure you've had as much time as W.Jefferson-Clinton's had to sanitize it so you can hide your questionable $650,000,000.00 campaign list of "donors", ie all those Favor-purchasers and Favor-Payoffs who helped buy the office for you.  (And DON'T tell me that you have 150,000,000 U.S. citizens who each gave you $5 !)

Oh sure, you're all squeeky-clean politicians who are men (and women) of the people, who know what it's like to be a common citizen.  You scumbags - how do you pretend to be so humble as you collect these rediculous speaker fees ..... as if YOU are the ones who actually write the speech!!  Do you take a class to teach you that??   Yeah, yeah, one day you'll all meet your Maker and be humbled as you really deserve, rather than all the red carpet you've paraded around on most of your miserable self-serving lives.

The Clintons are as stupid as the people who elected this phony, for supplying Obama anything. But at least NY gets rid of Hillary!
